Meet Ann:
I first knew I wanted to go into family law when I interned for Legal Advocates for Abused Women in St. Louis. I saw the tough emotions of people going through hard times, and I immediately wanted to help. I went on to work as a student attorney for the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry, and I spent a year handling every type of family law issue imaginable for people who needed help – but who could not afford it.
After law school, there was no question about which direction I wanted to head, so I immediately began representing clients in family court at a small firm in Clayton. I’ve stood up for mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, and children, all who needed help and I wanted to help them.
My experiences before law school give me a unique insight into the many different aspects of family law. I grew up with two adopted siblings, and I’ve always been drawn to helping people complete their families through the adoption process. My previous professional experience in the business world allows me to understand the practical side of divorce and other family law cases, including the division of assets and other complex financial matters.
When you need someone who can handle the practical issues of a family law case and who also understands your emotions and the difficult time you are facing, I’m ready to help.
